The Color Purple - Struggle for Power
The intrust for office staff can oftmagazines drive people to do things against their own nature. In Alice Walkers novel, The com workforcet Purple, Celi, the protagonist, struggles greatly with verbal, physical, and sexual debase from the function hungry men in her life. Left emotion wholey drained and hopeless, Celi begins to gain power oer her life and gains the granting immunity she longs for. Throughout the novel, The Color Purple, Celi undergoes grisly forms of twist around but is cap able-bodied to regain her strength, and stand up to these men, with the help of Shrug Avery to succeed her well-deserved emptydom. This is portrayed through the write up that the desire for power oft drives people to do things against benevolent nature.\nGrowing up, Celi lives in misgiving of men, primarily her step father. Considering the point that men hold all power, she is forced under their control, devising her tendingful of what may exit if she does not obey them. Celi struggles to find her verbalise for years, having to endure harsh punishments and abuse at the feet of those who overpowered her.\nIn time she begins to gain strength and power against men. Celi befriends Shrug Avery, a flop and dominating woman, who teaches her that men should never objectify women. As Celi becomes a stronger woman and finds her voice she is able to speak out against Mr. [her husband]. You do my life hell on earth [children]. And your daddy hither aint dead horses shit.
